In close collaboration with BOAL Systems, Technokas integrates several roof systems in one greenhouse project for an optimal cultivation climate per functional space. When Optiflor is more or less forced to move and can build a completely new building at the new location on the Madeweg in Monster, the opportunity arises to look together for a greenhouse system that seamlessly meets the specific cultivation wishes on the basis of the latest standards.
Based on experience and on the basis of good consultation, it is possible to meet all these requirements. It is possible to flawlessly combine single glass with double glazing and sandwich panels in one greenhouse roof system. “Due to the different covering materials, each with its own thickness, it is a challenge to make everything fit together seamlessly. Thanks to good consultation with all engineers, we are now building on the result!”
The greenhouse facade of this new-build project, like the roof, also consists of several covering materials. “In the outer wall, we use both stegdoppel and sandwich, here too it is important that everything fits together perfectly and that the desired climate in the greenhouse is guaranteed in the future. So real customization! Especially when you consider that this greenhouse has different compartment sizes, is fitted with single-glazed inner walls and has a diversity of aeration options.”
Earlier this week, all the engineers involved took a look at the construction site. “It's really cool to see that what you have come up with together is actually being built!”
