BOAL Systems provides a comprehensive range of aluminum roof and sidewall systems for high-tech glass or poly greenhouse constructions. 

We have established long-term collaborative relationships with our customer base of regional and global greenhouse builders. Constructed by the greenhouse builders, BOAL has completed over 10,000 hectares of new greenhouses worldwide.

We can tailor our modular systems to include fully integrated solutions such as climate screens, insect netting, insulation and ventilation systems to specific project requirements size, complexity, or regional challenges. 

With a strong focus on partnership, engineering and R&D, BOAL Systems is at the forefront of high-tech covered cultivation with superior technical capabilities and enhanced light transmittance allowing growers optimal yield with minimal resources. 

We continue to innovate to achieve the most ideal growing environment. We are always seeking to identify ways to optimise our current greenhouse systems for more energy-efficient crop cultivation, and we are testing new types of greenhouses systems for special crop-growing circumstances in environments that come with challenging conditions.

We have made a conscious decision to extrude our 100% recyclable aluminum in-house and to produce our greenhouse roof- and sidewall solutions ourselves. We deliver these in ready-to-use flatpacks at the location of where the greenhouse is to be erected.

In-house extrusion of the aluminum profiles by BOAL Extrusion (which is part of the BOAL Group) allows us to easily upscale production and results in a seamless backward integration of the aluminum components.

Our engineers use state-of-the-art software to calculate the particulars of our clients’ projects and design their greenhouse roof- and sidewall system in 3D.

Our aluminum profiles are carefully selected using certified calculation methods, based on so-called stress calculations, applicable local standards, crop loads and the specific requirements of the grower and the greenhouse builder.

Detailed designs of all the various components are then submitted to our experienced and capable production team. They use high-tech machines to efficiently process the aluminum profiles. 



We use a variety of methods to ensure that our logistics operations are as efficient as possible. We use advanced tracking systems to monitor the progress of shipments, and we employ experienced staff to manage the loading and unloading of goods. We also use specialized equipment to ensure that all material is safely loaded and unloaded.

Grow greener crops

Holland Netting is a pioneering and leading supplier of insect nettingsystems or integrated pest management (IPM) systems for greenhouse farming anywhere in the world. Insect screens play a crucial part in sustainable crop protection.

They have been found to be effective in keeping out harmful insects, or keeping in useful insects. The insertion of insect netting in roof vents reduces the risk of unwanted insects entering greenhouses.

Holland Netting allows growers anywhere in the world to become less dependent on pesticides or to stop using pesticides altogether, which results in cleaner crops and safe food, grown locally.

Insulation systems

High-quality insulation systems are an essential part of the energy conservation strategy implemented in high-tech greenhouses. By adding insulated sandwich panels to the sidewalls and front walls, which do not require any sunlight, growers will conserve a fair amount of energy. Production and service rooms equipped with insulation panels constitute safe workspaces and storage rooms with a stable atmosphere, thus reducing food wastage.
